Christine Pateros, RN

I am a psychedelic nurse therapist, shamanic practitioner, and ecopsychologist and founding member and faculty of PRATI who approaches psychedelic assisted work as sacred work with safety first. I am not a psychotherapist thus do not provide psychotherapy. My scope of practice includes intakes and history and physical assessment as needed, preparation, implementation of psychedelic assisted sessions including administration of ketamine, and integration. I work with groups as well as 1:1 with multiple providers/prescribers, collaborating on each case. Palliative, end of life, life-limiting and threatening-illness, existential distress are my specialties in this work as I believe befriending death and honoring death, whether embodied or energetic endings, is our greatest teacher besides Mother Nature/Earth. I am also trained at the Ketamine Training Center with Phil Wolfson and Julane Andries.
As a shamanic practitioner, initiated earth keeper with the Qero mystics of Peru, and an ecopsychologist, honoring Earth first is indeed honoring the sacred. My work is communicating as a solidly grounded person in this middle world who is a bridge between the western medical system and indigenous energy and mystical systems. I am a bridge between this middle world and the world of spirit. My collaborations are with fellow health professionals and clients and between me and spirit in support of a fully embodied flourishing life for myself and all beings I connect with.
