PRATI believes that ketamine is the best tool to learn the practical and fundamental skills needed for psychedelic medicine. Join our experienced family of ketamine providers to learn about ketamine assisted psychotherapy, ketamine infusions and oral outpatient therapy. We use ketamine as a jumping off point to explore the transformational power of psychedelic therapy. Our program emphasizes the practical skills and information that empowers you in this emerging field. This experiential training will be both personally and professionally transformative. You will be immersed in a joyful collective of experienced teachers who feel passionately about this topic.

What you will learn

PRATI’s immersive training approach combines didactic presentations with experiential components. Besides preparing you for the clinical application of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, this unique program provides a grounding in the foundations of psychedelic medicine. Over the three-day training, you will gain practical skills and hands-on knowledge including:

  1. Creating ceremony, ritual, and intention
  2. Tools for eliciting transformative sessions
  3. Playlist development, rationale, and curation
  4. Holistic and integrative tools for natural mental health support
  5. Clinical care of severely depressed and suicidal individuals

Sunrise Ranch

Loveland, Colorado

Sunrise Ranch is located in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains about one hour from Denver. Besides being a resort and retreat center, it is also an intentional spiritual community and a working sustainable ranch. The delicious food is farm-to-table and inspiring in quality.

All participants are required to make a reservation at Sunrise Ranch in addition to making tuition payment to PRATI. If you are not staying on-site at Sunrise Ranch, you will need to make a reservation as a commuter.

Accommodation and commuter reservations can be made directly with Sunrise Ranch by calling 1-877-786-0078. Mention the dates and "Therapy Training" to be registered with our group. Three farm-to-table buffet style meals per day are included with accommodation/commuter costs.

PRATI Faculty: Course Director Scott Shannon

Course Director: Scott Shannon, MD, has been a student of consciousness since his honor’s thesis on this topic in the 1970s. Following medical school, MDMA assisted psychotherapy became a facet of his practice before this medicine was scheduled in 1985. Scott has been a transformative agent in mental health and a visionary leader in integrative medicine for over two decades. He is a cannabidiol and MDMA researcher as well as a sought-after trainer and speaker. Currently, Scott works extensively with a broad range of ketamine services including ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in his large innovative clinic. He lectures all over the world to professionals interested in a deeper look at mental health issues, ketamine, psychedelics and a paradigm shifting perspective about transformative care.

 


PRATI Faculty: Darrick May

Darrick May, MD, is a board certified general and addiction psychiatrist with a private practice in Boulder, Colorado. He takes an integrative approach with a particular interest in psychedelic-assisted therapy. Darrick completed a research fellowship studying psilocybin at Johns Hopkins, is currently a therapist in MAPS’ phase 3 study of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD, and utilizes ketamine- assisted therapy in his clinic.

 

 


PRATI Faculty: Jason Sienknecht

Jason Sienknecht, LPC, CAC II, is a psychedelic psychotherapist with an interest in the potential for expanded states of consciousness to bring about healing and wholeness. He is a trained ketamine-assisted therapist and currently uses oral and intramuscular ketamine to help people heal from treatment-resistant depression and PTSD. He is also a MAPS trained MDMA-assisted psychotherapist.

 

 


Stephen Thomas, MSW, is a registered psychotherapist in the community mental health system in Fort Collins, Colorado. Formerly, he worked in nonprofit development and has been involved in media, education, and events promoting psychedelic medicines for over a decade. Stephen has a keen interest in the role that these powerful teacher plants and molecules can play in resolving psychospiritual distress and healing the wounds of disconnection behind our mounting ecological, social, and political crises.

 

 


PRATI Faculty: Jessica Breemen

Jessica Breemen, MSW, was awarded her Master of Social Work in May of 2020 and has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology. Her research has focused on criminal justice and drug policy reform, full spectrum harm reduction, as well as MDMA and ketamine-assisted psychotherapies. Jessica is a Senior Project Leader for a social justice non-profit dedicated to incubating and supporting social ventures build progressive political power with low income and BIPOC communities. Jessica serves on the board of directors of DanceSafe and completed her MSW advanced specialty field placement during her 2019-2020 school year at Wholeness Center in Fort Collins, CO.

 

 


Brianna Bendixsen, MA, is the study coordinator for the MAPS trial of MDMA-assisted psychotherapy for PTSD in Fort Collins, and is currently a trainee of the MAPS MDMA Therapy Training Program. She is also a registered psychotherapist and offers ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in private practice. Before landing in Colorado, she conducted research and completed her graduate internship working with children and adolescents with PTSD at Penn State Children’s Hospital and Center for Protection of Children. Bri is passionate about advancing research and community education into psychedelic-assisted therapies to reduce the stigma often associated with psychedelic medicines.

 

 


Stephanie Thomas received her doctorate of pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Georgia in 2009, and went on to practice for 6 years in Georgia and Northern California. Certified in 200+ hours of Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, Stephanie is well versed on the delicate synergy between the body and the brain. Inspired by the promise and the progress of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, Stephanie is currently studying to be a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner where she is able to further explore and support the connection between mind, body and psychedelic medicine.

Our ketamine and psychedelic medicine workshop is limited to a small group of professionals (20) to support an intimate and personal experience. The $500.00 deposit locks in your seat for this training on a provisional basis. Once we receive your deposit, we will reach out to you directly to explore your background and professional goals. We want to make sure that you are a great fit for this workshop. If accepted, this applies towards your total tuition. If declined admission to the training, the deposit amount is refunded minus a $100.00 application fee to cover our time in this process. We look forward to connecting with you!
$500 down payment is required for application. The balance is due by September 22nd, 2020, or you will lose your deposit. You will receive an email with a link to pay the balance.

Cancellation Policy

Final payment for the event is due by September 22nd, 2020.
If you cancel over 60 days from the event, you will be refunded 80% of the tuition. If you cancel less than 60 days from the event, you will be refunded 50% of the tuition. Cancellations less than 2 weeks prior to start of training date forfeit all of the tuition. If you find someone to take your seat, we can be much more flexible.
