Description of Services

I am a Holistic Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-D) and Registered 500 Hour Experienced Yoga Teacher (500 E-RYT). I graduated from SUNY Buffalo State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and from Canisius University in 2017 with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I began practicing as a yoga teacher in 2019 and often integrate this into my mental health work. In March 2024 I completed my Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy certification through PRATI.

My clientele often lies in the category of complex trauma and subsequent challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self esteem, perfectionism, boundaries, chronic illness disorders eating and a sense of disconnection/lack of fulfillment in life. I work with teens, young adults, and adults.

My approach is very person and compassion centered and strongly focuses on holistic healing. I value collaboration and safety and use a combination of traditional and non-traditional counseling therapies including EMDR, Somatic, Parts work, CBT, DBT, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and yogic practices. I believe every individual has the ability to heal and clear distortions to better connect to the true nature of themselves. Together we will explore how to cope with daily stressors as well as deeper wounds that are unique to you to ultimately live a more fulfilling life.

Briefly describe how your clinical work or business practice (e.g., policies, practices, or educational offerings) aligns with PRATI's Purpose statement: "Reconnecting to the Sacred: Self, Community, Nature, and Spirit".

Everything is interconnected. It is difficult and limiting to only look at parts of yourself or pieces of your life without acknowledging how they are all important, valuable, and make an impact. The word “yoga” translates to “yoke” or “unify”. This is representative in all ways possible – mind, body spirit, relationally, internal and external environment, wounds and wisdom, breath and body, and so on. This interpretation is often seen throughout the healing journey and life itself, requiring a connection to self and therefore a connection to everything.
