Aiya Leah Staller, LPC, LAC, ATR-BC, ACS

My work is relational, attuned, depth oriented, transpersonal, and specialized in trauma/attachment focused care. I am a queer identified, neurodivergent therapist who loves working with diverse adult clients. Folks I work with tend to be high performers (or a little “stuck in their heads”), gifted, anxious, sensitive, possibly perfectionistic, have experienced trauma/relational wounding, and have deep care for the world/others. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients and hold a liberatory & systemic perspective.
My approach is grounded in sensorimotor psychotherapy (somatic trauma processing & somatic relational parts work), Art Therapy, EMDR Therapy, and contemplative practices. I am interested in utilizing experiential embodied modalities to support clients in accessing their embodied truth, vitality, and capacity. I am also incorporating Ketamine Assisted Therapy (KAP) and Mushroom (Psilocybin) Assisted Therapy into my practice.
In addition to my private practice above, I supervise a team of LGBTQ+ therapists who provide accessible services via True Essence Therapy. This has been a heart-centered passion project and I am grateful to be able to offer this to adult clients of all genders & sexualities.
I hold the perspective of an interconnected world where we all impact each other & the planet. Holding a systemic and transpersonal view is important for honoring the complexity & relationality present within (and around/through) each client. I truly believe each client has an innate drive towards wholeness, integration, and health that can be supportive to the systems around them- I see my role as one of facilitator & container holder for a process to unfold. I bring skills and relationality to support a clients own access to right relationship in the world/for their life path. I am particularly attentive to power dynamics, oppression dynamics/influences, creative life force processes, and empowered perspectives.
