I offer services to children, families, and adults beginning at two years old in Lakewood CO or virtual (12 years old+). A few modalities include: Certified Synergetic Play Therapist (SPT), EMDR, Integrated Somatic Trauma Therapy, TheraPlay, ERP, LGBTQIA+ Inclusive Care (and more). A few specialities include: Trauma, anxiety, life transitions, attachment, OCD, depression/stuckness, family/childhood/teens/parenting, grief/loss, and mindful/somatic. While I have extensive training in trauma, attachment, and creative expression, the most important component to therapy is my relationship with clients. My intention is to collaborate with clients, find what style fits best, and offer a navigating hand to walk alongside them through distressing times. I believe that, despite living independent lives, people are connected through powerful, symbolic, nonverbal, and magical ways. It’s an honor to be invited into someone’s world and journey with them.
it is with great consideration and honor that I recognize how my privileges impact, block, and enhance the ability for people to reconnect to the sacred. I strive to be aware of how intersecting identities communicate each other, and I aim to be advocate for communities marginalized by systemic oppression. In my personal life, it’s taken me many years to allow enough space to reconnect to the sacred and plant roots in community and nature. While I believe it is a life-long adventure, I am grateful to have teachers and helpers who’ve supported my journey; I’d like to offer that reconnection to my clients to enhance the collective community and spirit. As primal animals, our nervous systems are designed to connect and find security in attachment (to self and others). Too often we get lost and struggle to return home to ourselves, elements, and realms. PRATI’s purpose statement is a statement of depth, truth, and vast knowledge. At my practice, BlueRaven Family Counseling, I believe in the power of listening to community/communities, power animals, using healing medicines, and expanding perspective(s). Without my helping spirits, teachers, guides, and animals, I would not be where I am in the present moment offering services to clients. I am filled with deep and sincere appreciation and abundance of what unfolds when we curate a place to honor, process, commune, and journey. What a gift it is to provide and be witness to people’s spirits and the sacred!
