Chere Douglas, LMFT 83940

I am a LMFT (licensed marriage family therapist) who enjoys working with individuals of all ages.
In my practice I typically treat people with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, PTSD/CPTSD, parenting support, caring for aging parents, life transitions, all types of women’s issues, ADHD, and career changes.
In supporting clients, I cross pollinate from a variety of theoretical perspectives. My favorites include: EMDR, particularly Super Resourcing, Ketamine (KAP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Attachment Theory, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness practices.
In supporting self, community and nature, I look to mindfulness meditation practices to help myself and my clients stay aligned with their internal values and goals. I’m in the middle of a two year mindfulness meditation teacher training certification program which will bring even more focus onto the mindfulness practices that help us understand our interconnectedness with each other and the earth.
