We hope this message finds you well! We are writing with an important announcement about the leadership of PRATI.

Over the past few months, PRATI has been going through a change in leadership, as Jamie Harvie, who made a tireless commitment, dedication, and contributions to PRATI over his 2.5-year tenure has decided to make a transition. We are pleased to share an Interim Executive Director to be stepping into the role, Wilhelmina De Castro, who, with the support of Jamie, has been seamlessly integrating her efforts into this role. Her contributions have already been invaluable.
With heartfelt appreciation, we continue to extend our deepest gratitude to Jamie Harvie for his pivotal role in facilitating this transition, as well as his incredibly hard work supporting PRATI to become the successful organization it is today.
Over the past month, our board has been collaborating with Wilhelmina to pinpoint PRATI’s immediate priorities, forge tangible short-term objectives, and begin the exploration of a long-term vision. Our highest priority is to continue the incredible work of training the psychedelic community with a focus on ethics, integrity, and quality.
Address from Jamie Harvie:
At the end of 2023, I made the difficult decision to leave my position as President and Executive Director at PRATI. To fledge an organization is no small task requiring heart, soul, and commitment; it has been a privilege and an honour to give it my all. Yet, there comes a time when it is healthy within any organization to step back, to trust in readiness and emergence, and bear witness as PRATI, the organization, continues to sing and now soars, on the next phase of its life journey.
To that end, it was my joy to and thrill to recommend and welcome Wilhelmina DeCasto to the position of interim Executive Director. With their wisdom and warm heart, it has been a true pleasure working with them on the transition process. As a PRATI alumni with extensive experience as an educator, therapist, and psychedelic practitioner, and deep commitment to inclusivity I have no doubt that with Wilhelmina’s guidance, PRATI will soar.

My commitment to serving our community is unwavering. I believe wholeheartedly in the mission of PRATI and the profound healing potential of psychedelic medicines for individuals, communities, and our planet. Together, with the support and collaboration of our dedicated staff, esteemed educators, committed board members, and the vibrant PRATI community, I am confident that we will continue to advance our shared goals and make meaningful strides in the field of psychedelic research, practice, and education.
I am excited about the journey ahead and look forward to working alongside each of you as we navigate this important and transformative time for PRATI. Your passion, expertise, and dedication are the driving forces behind our collective impact, and I am grateful for the opportunity to lead and serve alongside such a remarkable community.
