Description of Services

We are a nature based integrative psychiatry clinic in Asheville, NC. We offer ketamine assisted therapy, nature therapy and integrative psychiatry, all with a strong emphasis on nature connection as a component of the healing process. I have been a psychiatrist for 20 years and have a background of working with children and adolescents in residential settings, who have very complex presentations including cPTSD, mood disorders, eating disorders, and addiction. Integrative psychiatry incorporates both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic modalities to support healing. Some of the non-pharmacologic methods we incorporate include traditional therapies (EMDR, psychodynamic), guided nature connection (forest bathing), mindfulness practices (including MBSR), breathwork, neurofeedback, nutritional counseling, dance/movement and psychedelic assisted therapy.

At Asheville Integrative Psychiatry, our mission is to empower people to access an innate ability to heal through facilitating connection to Self, to community and to the natural environment.
