Ana Rodriguez, MS, LPC
Research shows that set and setting are two of the largest contributors to receiving all the benefits your psychedelic and healing experience has to offer. If going to a clinic feels too stuffy, impersonal, and removed, perhaps you would prefer a therapeutically and energetically trained shaman to guide your experience located in a beautiful and natural setting. Ana specializes in preparation, journeying, and integration to walk alongside you every step of the way. Her in home office has multiple choices for journeying, including her office, a yoga deck and a comfortable ceremony room. Her two therapy dogs are also present during sessions and medicine journeys to provide additional comfort and support for animal lovers. Choose between individual medicine sits, group sits, as well as local and international retreats.
In addition to my formal western training in psychology, I also have extensive experience and knowledge working in Eastern wellness modalities. I am a certified Master Reiki Practitioner and healer. I have undergone years of devoted training in various eastern wellness practices and believe in a holistic health model. You may see or hear me on different wellness podcasts, shows, and platforms connecting western science with eastern philosophy.
One of my personal life goals is to find stability, balance, and the fullness the human experience has to offer. I believe that everyone deserves to be included and understood in an unconditional way, no matter their race, age, gender, religion, sexual oriental or identity. This belief informs and guides my work as a therapist. I always bring my personality into the therapy room and believe that humor, sarcasm, assertiveness and laughter are vital parts of the healing process. Another important aspect of healing and balance is the connection to Mother Earth, and understanding our profound relationship with Her. To be in connection to not just other humans, but the earth and all of the plants, animals, and minerals is an integral component to finding healing. I often bring this knowledge and application into sessions with clients or leave it out depending on a client’s need and readiness.
