I provide a holistic, supportive, integrative soul and spirit based approach to mental health that is founded in Somatic Therapy, a body-centered therapy that focuses on present-moment awareness, exploring bodily tension, gestures, and sensations through dialogue, breathing, and movement. Somatic healing is holistic, going beyond traditional talk therapy, to connect heart, mind, body, spirit, and soul. I look to the body as a wise resource, ally, and guide. Our bodies hold a lot of wisdom that we are disconnected from or can talk ourselves out of in our cognitive mind.
