Description of Services

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Boulder Colorado.

My approach to therapy blends mindfulness-based, somatically-oriented therapies, Gestalt and internal family systems therapy. I am trained in EMDR, and trauma and attachment work are central to my therapeutic lens.

I work with adolescents and adults from all backgrounds, and in particular it is important to me to serve the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.

I offer Ketamine Assisted Therapy as a powerful means of deepening the therapeutic process. The experience of ketamine with the support of therapy allows for transformation, and growth. In my experience the caring and mindful therapeutic relationship is the safest and most effective way to undergo the dissociative/psychedelic experiences of ketamine. Similarly, the shifts that occur during the days, weeks or even longer after the ketamine session can take root with the support of therapy. I see the synergistic relationship between therapy and ketamine as key to the healing potential of this powerful work.

Briefly describe how your clinical work or business practice (e.g., policies, practices, or educational offerings) aligns with PRATI's Purpose statement: "Reconnecting to the Sacred: Self, Community, Nature, and Spirit".

Our individual healing is so important, not only for ourselves but for each other, our communities, the planet and all its inhabitants. When we can feel our connection to ourselves, others, nature, and spirit, we thrive. Collective liberation and right relationship with the planet is a core principle of my work and of the use of medicines like ketamine. In order to practice reciprocity and right relationship, I make a small monthly donation to the Indigenous Reciprocity Initiative of the Americas (IRI), in acknowledgment of the roots of these healing traditions. I offer sliding scale therapy to help make KAP more accessible, in particular to historically marginalized groups.
