Practitioner Information
Description of Services

I have a private practice where I provide individual and group counseling (mindfulness/meditation and trauma recovery). My speciality areas are multicultural counseling and eating disorders.

I am currently providing individual KAP sessions, and working on a model for group KAP. I also offer KAP retreats with Lorna Busch, fellow PRATI alum. My passion is for doing KAP within the context of the healing power of a group. My approach to KAP is to gently guide clients toward inner-directed healing. I incorporate mindfulness, meditation, and pranayama, into my integrative–interpersonal, Jungian, feminist, culturally-sensitive, and practical style. I especially enjoy doing dreamwork with my clients.

Briefly describe how your clinical work or business practice (e.g., policies, practices, or educational offerings) aligns with PRATI's Purpose statement: "Reconnecting to the Sacred: Self, Community, Nature, and Spirit".

Fellow PRATI grad, Lorna Busch, and I offer KAP Wellness Retreats. Inspired by our PRATI training and the amazing PRATI team, we have created a weekend that includes, KAP, yoga, meditation, body-work, nature, and ritual. From our website: the experience is “specially designed for those who have been healing others during this challenging time in humanity (therapists, chiropractors, caretakers, physicians, etc.) or for those who feel called to a deeper connection within themselves, the collective, and the earth. A reprieve from the outer chaos will provide some much-needed grounding and self-exploration. This intimate group will be limited to six participants who want to uniquely expand their contemplative practices. We will come together in a small nurturing co-created community to embark on a three-day journey of tending to mind, body, and spirit.”
