Carrier Song

Listen to the song of your heart.
See the stones that surround it.
Stones of shame, stones that judge,
Stones that don’t value.
Smell the threads that hold you:
the fiber of grass,
the sinew of pine.

Feel the stones fall away and

Taste your own voice.
