Tom McCabe, MA, LPC, SEP

I offer talk, somatic, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to individual adults in my accessible office in Juneau, Alaska and by Internet video or phone throughout Alaska. I am a licensed professional counselor, so many of my services are reimbursable by health insurance. I am trained in ACT, CBT, somatic experiencing (SE), KAP, MDMA-assisted therapy, psychodynamics, mindfulness, and a variety of more eclectic therapy approaches. I have been in practice full-time since 2014 and specialize in helping clients with anxiety and depression arising from trauma (sometimes referred to as complex PTSD or C-PTSD). Potential new clients begin with a free phone consultation to confirm that I am a good match for your counseling goals. You can find more about me at my website, listed above.
My non-dual spiritual beliefs express through my commitment to recognizing the interconnection and oneness of all beings and the world as a whole, in all situations. This shapes my every interaction with clients into a search for what is already whole and true in each of us, beneath the suffering and confusion that motivates our work. In healing, we are seeking to uncover what is already healthy and alive within us, not to get rid of any part of ourselves.
